A Faith Journey
I believe that my personal relationship with God has always been demonstrated in an intimate manner. I certainly feel that I was raised to interact with the God this way. I feel that I have never been shy or afraid to communicate with God. I speak to God through the people I talk to, the children I teach and the way I serve the Faith Community.
The Evolution of my Faith Life is based on this very foundation. It is a foundation that was formed in my youth and has developed throughout adulthood. Through the Blessed Trinity I communicate with God. For me, God is real, Jesus is real, and his Holy Spirit is real; and He is with me on my Faith Journey.
With Jesus Christ, I feel that I have a sense of purpose. I am strengthened by the power of the Holy Spirit to move me forward in faith without fear. God guides me in the direction that I go. If I feel aimless, then I have God to communicate and work with. It is at my weakest moments that I can look to the very foundations of my faith and know that I am not alone.
Encouraged by the knowledge that God is with me, I have developed a deep sense of mission and purpose in life. I have always believed that I have a calling to parish ministry. As noted earlier, it has been a joy and I certainly have found myself in various pastoral settings. I feel that there is more for me to do with regard to the cure of souls and it is my sincere desire that you consider me to be a suitable man for the Priesthood in the Holy Orthodox Catholic and Apostolic Church of America.
